\n\t\t“I lift up my eyes to the mountains-where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.” Psalm 121:1-2\n\t<\/h2>\n\t

“Help me<\/em>.<\/em>“<\/p>\n

The only two words I can muster.<\/p>\n

My thoughts jumbled,<\/p>\n

heart crumbled,<\/p>\n

logic and reason muffled,<\/p>\n

so I sit here humbled<\/p>\n

begging You to help me.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I fold my hands to pray,<\/p>\n

but a body at war can’t settle long enough<\/p>\n

to think of what to say.<\/p>\n

So, help me.<\/p>\n

God, help me.<\/p>\n

Lord, all I have is a “help me<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The truth is I’m at the end of myself,<\/p>\n

and all I thought I knew.<\/p>\n

But You know,<\/p>\n

You see,<\/p>\n

and You are the only One who knows how to help me.<\/p>\n

Oh Lord, please help me<\/em>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

I look at the hills in front of me,<\/p>\n

and over my shoulder at the ones I’ve already climbed.<\/p>\n

My legs shaking,<\/p>\n

body aching,<\/p>\n

spirit quaking,<\/p>\n

but I know where my help comes from.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

No mountain ever stood in your way.<\/p>\n

So, I will stand and fight another day-<\/p>\n

by offering up my humble “help me<\/em>.”<\/p>\n

Oh Lord, I trust in You to help me.<\/p>\n

I’ll worship while I wait for You to help me.<\/p>\n

You whisper, “My child, I already am.<\/p>\n
